Meet Jon and Michaela, my first brother and sister duo. They have a three years age difference but appear more like twins. Jon was visiting from a break from college and decided last minute to join the sewing class. They gave me so much hope about the future generation. They are smart, talented, but most importantly kind.
Jon taught me to say "that's unfortunate", when I make a mistake and then carry on with my business. Michaela's admiration for her brother, gives her this healthy competition to excel in her own right. It reminded me of my relationship with my brother. When my brother did well in anything, I wanted to imitate him.
Teaching these two special dude and dudette, energizes me and gets me excited about the future. I believe Jon and Michaela will influence many more of their peers to contribute to our amazing world. YEAH!
